There is some information on our page that is either outdated, or incorrect as our programs have changed. Below is a list of each edit request, along with why something should be changed, and sources. Please let me know if I need to provide anything additional.

 Not done: 1. What does "faith-based" mean here? What is a reader intended to understand from this? It's very unclear and ambiguous. If CoH were reported as being "faith-based" consistently by reliable secondary sources, that could be included in the lead with an explanatory footnote, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
2. The association with Assemblies of God is relevant; why should it go unmentioned here?

a. Since these numbers are sourced to an interview with CoH leadership, they should be attributed - "The organization claims to have provided...".
b. Ok.
c. Not reported in secondary sources, so both reliability and noteworthiness of this number are questionable; shouldn't be included.
5. Ok.
6. The initiative should be named as it is reported in reliable sources. If its name has been changed, that can be included at an appropriate point in the paragraph, but it shouldn't be changed everywhere without explanation.
7. The phrasing chosen by CoH is not relevant here; Wikipedia editors should actually avoid copying text without attribution (WP:COPYVIO). "Daily" could be changed to "on school days" for accuracy, but alignment with CoH promotional material is not appropriate. Please be aware that Wikipedia is not for advertisement or promotion.
8. External links in article text are inappropriate per WP:EL. Inclusion of content on Wikipedia is based on WP:NOTABILITY, not the desires or preferences of article subjects. Any addition should be based exclusively on reliable sources. The promotional tone and intent of your suggested addition is also not appropriate for Wikipedia.
9. I'm not a grammar expert, so I might be wrong, but I don't think a comma is needed there (?). This example sentence, with a location name that doesn't include a comma, reads perfectly fine to me:
"In 1996, Hal Donaldson was offered a job in Canada and moved CoH's HQ there as well."
On the other hand, it looks weird with a comma:
"In 1996, Hal Donaldson was offered a job in Canada, and moved CoH's HQ there as well."
I don't think "...and moved CoH's HQ there as well" should be separated from the rest of a sentence with a comma, if it can be at all.
Remember that you are allowed to make minor edits to spelling and punctuation as long as they do not change the meaning of the content you edited. 1.     You can gain insight on what a faith-based organization is by this Wikipedia article. The intent is that a reader would see “faith-based” and know that Convoy is an organization whose values are based on faith, which has a mission based on a particular faith, and which most often draws its activists (leaders, staff, volunteers) from a particular faith group.

2. The way the sentence is currently written makes it appear that we are an entity of the Assemblies of God and Chi Alpha, which is incorrect. We would like the sentence to be more accurate – and you are welcome to write that sentence however you wish, and even keep Assemblies of God and Chi Alpha listed. Maybe, “and works with different denominations, churches, and organizations including the Assemblies of God and its Chi Alpha campus ministries and fellowships.”
3. If this suggestion is good, are you able to go ahead and make that change?
4. Can you make the changes you approved along with your recommendation to add the statement "The organization claims to have provided..."? I will work towards finding secondary sources that site our most recent numbers that you requested better sourcing and present those in a later edit request.

There is some information on our page that is either outdated, or incorrect as our programs have changed. Below is a list of each edit request, along with why something should be changed, and sources. Please let me know if I need to provide anything additional.

1. We are a “faith based” organization. Can you add “Faith-Based” in the opening sentence — “Convoy of Hope is a faith-based nonprofit…” You can gain insight on what a faith-based organization is by this Wikipedia article. The intent is that a reader would see “faith-based” and know that Convoy is an organization whose values are based on faith, which has a mission based on a particular faith, and which most often draws its activists (leaders, staff, volunteers) from a particular faith group.

3. The statement “In 1995, Convoy of Hope held its first large food distribution event in which they gave 700,000 pounds of food to 70,000 people” is inaccurate. The way in which the article sourced for this information states these data points can be incorrectly read. The way it is written in the Wikipedia article makes it appear that Convoy gave 700,000 pounds of product to 70,000 people at a single event, when in reality that amount was given for the entire year of 1995. The sentence would be more accurate if it read, “In 1995, Convoy of Hope held its first large food distribution event. Over the course of the year, they gave 700,000 pounds of food to 70,000 people.[5]”


4. This Wikipedia article lists our numbers going back to 2019, so almost 4 years old. Change “As of 2019, the organization has provided a total of $1 billion in food and aid, helping over 115 million people in the process” to “As of 2022, the organization has provided a total of $2 billion in food and aid, helping over 200 million people in the process”[6].


5.Convoy is not a “first responder organization”, as mentioned in the Services section. A more accurate representation — that can use the same citation — is “One of its primary functions is as one of the first organizations to respond in the wake of disasters.”[7]


6. Our children’s feeding program doesn’t provide “daily” meals to children, so wording it that ways is inaccurate . We partner with schools to provide meals to children “every school day”. The way we phrase this statement is “Convoy of Hope also has a children's feeding program that provides regular, nutritious meals to children[8] in developing countries throughout the world.”
