I am not a geologist and I've never studied geology in my life but I've found some good papers that might be useful if someone with a background in geology could take a look at them.

Here's the links: https://pubs.usgs.gov/pp/0971/report.pdf Usgs report entirely about the range. https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/gsa/gsabulletin/article-abstract/59/10/1027/4185/GEOLOGY-OF-THE-CONFUSION-RANGE-WEST-CENTRAL-UTAH Geoscienceworld.org paper, needs a subscription though, might be useful if you can buy it. https://ugspub.nr.utah.gov/publications/open_file_reports/ofr-613.pdf Another report by the us geological survey. https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2009AGUFM.T21D1863Y/abstract Havard.edu paper, just the abstract.

These are just a few, there's a lot more out there if anyone who knows anything about geology is interested Surfinsi (talk) 03:44, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

These mountains are mentioned in “Louis Lamour’s The Empty Land”. ~2025-37135-90 (talk) 01:14, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
