Browser compatibility

[edit]

"Browser compatibility testing, can be more appropriately referred to as user experience testing" - absolute nonsense, these are two very different things. Spxdcz (talk) 06:27, 20 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree with the remark Vasywriter 20 Aug. 2012
"The objective of Browser Compatibility Testing is to ensure that the site renders without error on the target web browsers" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.183.241.21 (talk) 10:58, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Non-functional, really?

[edit]

I disagree with the initial statement that Compability testing is about non-functional aspects. It can be very functional, if the top-level requirements for the software specify that it must run on a specific platform. Vasywriter 20 Aug. 2012

Should the title of this section be "Software Compatibility Testing"?

[edit]

There are other types of compatibility testing not related to software at all and this topic is part of the Software Testing Portal... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronaldpihlgren (talkcontribs) 23:29, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
