Why mention 1992?

The article says, "No official alphabet existed in 1992 . . . ." but it doesn't explain why that year is significant. It should. J. D. Crutchfield | Talk 16:58, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

An omission

So how did speakers of this language come to the Comoro islands? Did they migrate here by their own volition? Or were they brought here as slaves? (History of the Comoros is frustratingly sketchy on this issue.) -- llywrch (talk) 18:06, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
