Fair use rationale for Image:NS logo.jpg

Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Interesting GA on good-looking sources, foreign sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. A few things about the hooks:

• I'd not pipe the station name to something without MRT, or it will look like anything in the wide Commonwealth.
• I'd pipe to "Singapore shophouses" for precision.
• I'd drop "paladium" - see below.
• In ALT1, I'd not use the quote which reads lake a strange translation, but perhaps say "... to have an identity related to traditional building in Singapore".

In the article, I wonder about the link to palladium, while paladium seems to mean just a colour. I believe that you use identical references 19-20, but can access none of them. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:42, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for the review, Gerda Arendt. Hopefully, I did the pipe links right. Regarding the palladium thing, the original source does use "paladium" but another editor changed it to "palladium" in this article. I'm not sure if Singapore shophouses have palladium (the element) columns, but it seems unlikely. Btw I do have access the sources. Icepinner (Come to Hakurei Shrine!) 16:14, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

Thank you. Next time, leave the hooks as they are, please, and word ALTs here below. I don't want to be pedantic, but the conversation otherwise makes no sense ;) - I'd drop that "paladium" in the hook, as too easily misunderstood, and don't link a link to the element makes sense.
