I've reverted the prod on this. A thin article on a notable topic isn't enough reason to delete.

This clock, and its problems, were a significant issue in home computers around 1980. The combination of early colour graphics, displayed on a domestic TV set with a composite video input. Either with PAL or NTSC, this relied on producing stable high frequency clock timing, all within the budget of these simple video generator circuits. It was particularly a problem when trying to support both NTSC and PAL, and one reason why US machines were often problematic as imports to the UK. Andy Dingley (talk) 09:21, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
