Amir Sultan Tarar → Colonel Imam – WP:COMMONNAME. He is much better known by his nom de guerre "Colonel Imam" rather than by his real name. The Urdu Wikipedia's article is already titled Colonel Imam. Here are few examples:

Google Scholar: "Colonel Imam" 134 results - "Amir Sultan Tarar" 18 results
Ngrams: result. "Amir Sultan Tarar" doesn't even appear in Ngrams.
JSTOR: 17 results for Colonel Imam while no results for Amir Sultan Tarar. Even nearly all sources in the article itself use "Colonel Imam". Malak Randhawa (talk) 11:26, 25 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
