Citing Herbalgram: The Journal of the American Botanical Council, Issue 64, pp 44-51, http://www.herbalgram.org/herbalgram/articleview.asp?a=2754 as a source for the term "bonnet bellflower". From the article:

In the horticultural trade, the plant group is known as bonnet bellflowers.
