I think one should create an article "Clinch"
Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that trapping be merged into clinch fighting. I think that the content in the trapping article can easily be explained in the context of clinch fighting, and the clinch fighting article is of a reasonable size that the merging of trapping will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Un-Merging proposal
[edit]I propose unmerge the two articles, as trapping is a completely different concept in Chinese martial arts (example: Wing Chun and JKD etc), which aims at stopping opponents arms or legs during strikings with FOREARM or HAND blocking or grabbing actions alone, BUT NOT like "clinching" techniques in grappling, which often involve the body itself.
