Please change "He contested, but unsuccessfully won, the constituency twice in the 2015[11] and the 2020[12] general elections under the PAP ticket." to "He contested, but was unsuccessful in winning the constituency, twice in the 2015[11] and the 2020[12] general elections under the PAP ticket."

Reason: The original phrasing "unsuccessfully won" is grammatically incorrect (an oxymoron). The proposed change clarifies the political context and fixes the grammar.
