The Alphabetical list of notable chronicles would be improved by creating a sortable table and including a column of dates as per WP:WORKS --Senra (talk) 23:51, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I notice that the list excludes the most famous of modern day chronicles: Wikipedia. Look at 10 random articles and then tell me I'm wrong! --kingboyk (talk) 11:29, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

On what level is the Koran a chronicle? A chronicle is a basic history book arranged in a year by year fashion, like a chronology or timeline. I am removing it from the list. SJR Mon 26 Nov 2012 22:22 GMT

I don't understand why Chronological Narration would redirect to Chronicle as they are not the same thing. Yes, a Chronicle uses chronological narration, but chronological narration is a narrative structure used in many other types of literature. SoNotNic (talk) 15:11, 14 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Cronista section

[edit]

Even w/ the 2022 merge, the cronista rdr prolly oughtta point to crónica (literary genre) (on Spanish chronicles) or crônica (on Portuguese ones), and the section here prolly oughtta just be named chronicler as the cronista term is only Spanish/Portuguese/Romance afaik, and not European in general. - Asdfjrjjj (talk) 08:20, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
