Who is Christopher R. Phillips?

[edit]

I wonder why Christopher R. Phillips was said to be the author of Socrates Cafe. The author's of said book does not have a middle name. Show me where it says R.?--IsoMorpheus (talk) 21:34, 25 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

remove promotional maintenance banner

[edit]

Hello. In strict compliance with WP:COI (Conflict of Interest) guidelines, I am proposing these changes here on the Talk page rather than editing the article directly.

I noticed the page was flagged for promotional content.

To resolve the maintenance tag, I am requesting that an independent editor make the following specific trims to neutralize the tone:

  1. Clean up book catalog: In the "Books" section, please remove all promotional bracketed text (e.g., "[Published in numerous other languages]", "[Widely published also in other languages]", and mentions of forewords). It should be reduced to a straightforward, neutral bibliography.
  2. Fix promotional image caption: Please change the caption of the first image from "Phillips at his home office holding his Soul of Goodness book" to simply "Phillips in 2024".

Once these promotional elements are stripped out, I believe the article will be fully compliant with Wikipedia's standards. I ask that the editor who fulfills this request please remove the promotional maintenance banner afterward. Thank you for your time and help. Budistafilosofa (talk) 00:15, 3 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
