I removed this sentence:

  • According to Gordon Lynch, Partridge is a leading scholar of topics in popular culture.[1]

It's unclear what the claim is here and I don't have access to the full text of the original article to check. If the claim is that he's a leading scholar of religious topics in popular culture and that word was just omitted, we need to say that. If the claim is that he's a leading scholar of everything in popular culture, that seems dubious given the context of his career. Prezbo (talk) 10:48, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
