I created this page in order to highlight the scientist Chris Field. I look forward to any thoughtful additions. Wikigratia (talk) 05:24, 1 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

In the "Positions and accolades" section, I see these two sentences: "Field's work has allowed to quantify the global climate impact of deforestation, agriculture and other changes in vegetation cover. And vice versa." The 'has allowed ...' seems grammatically incorrect - has allowed who, or what? Also, the use of "And vice versa" is confusing. I think the intent of the sentences is good, but they could use a re-write to be clearer. Since I'm not 100% clear on what you are trying to say, I don't want to edit it myself but would rather draw your attention to it.

If I had to make changes, I'd say 'Has allowed us...' or 'Has allowed the scientific community ...' . I'd expand the vice versa comment to actually state the second case. Steerpike5800 (talk) 19:38, 24 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
