Chicago was one of the Geography and places good articles, but it has been removed from the list. There are suggestions below for improving the article to meet the good article criteria. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

Incorrect photo tag

The top most photo that shows the entire skyline of Chicago is labeled “The Loop” but should read “Chicago Skyline”. The “Loop” is a specific portion of downtown, where the elevated train tracks form a loop. Trains from the various lines (Orange Line, Pink Line, Brown Line, Green Line and Purple Line) enter downtown, loop around and head back outward (See CTA map). Only the part of the city that is within this loop of tracks is considered The Loop. ~2026-35694-58 (talk) 06:08, 19 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Missing "Educational Attainment" data for city as a whole

Many of the pages for Chicago neighborhoods include "Educational Attainment" data in format "Educational Attainment {Source year}", but not this page. Could that data be added, as • High School Diploma or Higher 0%
