Inconsistency between articles

The https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Checker_Taxi article says Checker Taxi used the Marathon. This article says there were two different vehicles. Can anyone resolve this inconsistency with documented evidence?

As per http://www.darnton.ws/~lane/Checker_story.html, the full-width grille was only introduced in 1963; it appears that 1961 and 1962 Marathons had the narrower Superba grille.
