[edit]I have redirected this article to Chauhan. I am aware that there are potential transliteration issues but the content here is very poorly sourced and seems ultimately to be information that, if sourced properly, would exist at Chauhan. Alas, it is so bad that I see nothing worth merging. Obviously, if others disagree then we need to discuss the issue but a prerequisite of that would be producing recent reliable sources that make a distinction between the two groups. - Sitush (talk) 00:18, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Surname chavan
[edit]All the types of chauhan came in the chavan surname.They all are using the name chavan .It may be that because of British rule they pronounce it chauhan and most of them use it as a chauhan instead of chavan . 160.238.77.159 (talk) 11:05, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
