Late Shiri Komal Yadav was main hero. Few facts I am going to add below.

( यह लोकगीत चौरीचौरा विद्रोह के क्रांतिवीर कोमल यादव के बारे में है। वह सहुआकोल भइसहंवा के रहने वाले थे। उन्हें जिला कारागार गोरखपुर में बंद किया गया था। वह 18 जुलाई 1922 को जेल से भाग गए। 18 महीने बाद उन्हें फिर गिरफ्तार किया गया और 1924 की गर्मियों में उन्हें फांसी दे दी गई।

Chauri Chaura Incident

A small sleepy village named Chauri Chaura has found a place in history books due to an incident of violence on February 5,1922,which was to prompt Gandhi to withdraw the non-cooperation movement. The police here had beaten up the leader of a group of volunteers campaigning against liquor sale and high food prices,and then opened fire on the crowd which had come to protest before the police station. The agitated crowd torched the police station with policemen inside who had taken shelter there; those who tried to flee were hacked to death and thrown back into the fire. Twenty-two police men were killed in the violence. Gandhi, not happy with the increasingly violent trend of the movement,immediately announced the withdrawal of the movement. 43.252.248.211 (talk) 23:57, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
