In October 2022, an anon or EWLO contributor added/changed text seemingly based on an "original document that is in my pocession [sic] signed by Victoria". With a note stating that the change "is proven as i owe [sic] the official document". How does anyone verify this source? If it is not published document, how can it be considered reliable and verifiable? How does this type of source meet any of the tenets of the applicable guidelines?
Given that Kickham's biographical entry in the Dictionary of Irish Biography (a verifiable, published and seemingly reliable source) simply states that he was "released on compassionate grounds in March 1869". Unless someone has other thoughts (and, for example, can produce this document that they own (or "owe") and/or is in their possession (or "pocession"), then I'm inclined to update the short passage of related text to reflect this source. Do you know what? On second thought, I'm not waiting for a reply on this. This is a no-brainer. I've updated the text to reflect the DIB source. (A random doc that some unnamed/unspecified person may (or may not) have in their own private collection is not a reliable/verifiable/published source.
