Casterman logo change

[edit]

I noticed that the Casterman logo used to be capitalized and everything back then. It was then updated to the current one we know. I'm currently trying to find a date if when that change was done. I have done some personal research by looking at first editions of Casterman books, and I've found that it was around between 1977 to 1986. My only problem is that I can't confirm this. I would appreciate some help to solve this small little mystery. Thanks! (I don't have an account so uh idk what's gonna happen but I'll figure it out) ~2026-41473-30 (talk) 22:59, 25 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Edit: I have done some more research and the time was between 1980 and 1986. I don't have source for any of this but I simply look at old Casterman books. If anyone finds an answer with a good third party source then if possible, add it somewhere on here. Thanks! ~2026-41473-30 (talk) 15:33, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
even more research and its around between 1982 and 1986 ~2026-41473-30 (talk) 13:11, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
idk why i keep making the year even more later by goung 1977 to 1980 to 1982 so mb but actual progress is that it must be in1975 as first editions of quick et flupke receuil 2 was made in 1975 and has the modern logo on the cover. the first edition of tintin and the picaros (so in other words the first french version) was made in 1976 and has the old logo. this probably suggests that they were still in the middle of the transition of logos in 1975 and 1976. it means that it would be possible if casterman used the current logo in 1974. ill keep ya tuned and when i finish ill give some sources
bye! ~2026-46063-80 (talk) 19:09, 24 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
