As only one line from this work is known, wouldn't it be appropriate to quote the line in the article? According to http://www.thelatinlibrary.com/varro.ll7.html it is "Veteres Casmenas cascam rem volo profarier". Maproom (talk) 11:06, 27 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

The line is quoted in the article in both Latin and in English translation. The Latin quotation is taken from Courtney's Fragmentary Latin Poets, which is available in limited preview online (relevant page here), and a more reliable source than the Latin Library — as wonderful as that resource is, they don't provide a textual apparatus, and one can find errors in their transcriptions. However, poor eyesight increasingly interferes with my ability to copyedit, so please double-check my own transcription of the Latin with Courtney's.
