The entry states that Carbon Engineering "is funded by several government and sustainability-focused agencies as well as by private investors..." but then says "In August 2023, Occidental Petroleum bought Carbon Engineering for $1.1B, with payments over 3 years..."

So CE today is no longer funded by anyone other than Oxy, correct? If so, the statement should read more like "Carbon Engineering was originally funded by several government and sustainability-focused agencies...". ~2025-36711-90 (talk) 10:57, 29 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
