Heading

I'm not too happy with this "Road vehicles, powered or towed, intended for human habitation"

That's too big for a heading.

Any idea what to change it to?

How about "Portable, or semi-portable habitation"? Technically a static caravan isn't a road vehicle. Dunno. Tricky. a_man_alone (talk) 11:14, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Well done, you all. Just a couple of points by way of explanation:

1. I only used "powered" because of the link to recreational vehicle.

2. I resisted the temptation to include "carried" for (some) mobile homes.

3. A static caravan (in Australia) is almost always a road vehicle that no longer takes to the road. Downsize43 (talk) 23:01, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

"Traveling" vs "Automotive"

My changed groupin is more natural "Automotive" subsection is well-defined and I saw it weird to put Campervan and Caravanserai into one group when there already existed a section related to automobiles. - Altenmann >talk 19:39, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

I find it quite the opposite. The rest of the "automotive" section are specific models that are called "caravan". Campervans and Caravan (trailer) are generic types of travel-releted vehicles that have more in common with the other travel-related items. The Caravan (trailer) article is not even specifically about automotive trailers. older ≠ wiser 20:05, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
