Possible AI generated text
[edit]Hi -- I added the AI generated template in response to this diff. (I Googled the text, it does not seem to be quoting the source given or any other source.) Gnomingstuff (talk) 05:12, 26 August 2025 (UTC)

- ... that a volcano is named after the Spanish word for Chokecherry?
- Source: "Volcanic Resources Summary—Capulin Volcano National Monument": https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/volcanic-resources-summary-capulin-volcano-national-monument.htm
- Reviewed: [[]]
- Comment: To say the article was newly created is far-fetched enough, it's more than 2 decades old. 5x expanded? Not exactly but removing those texts by AI and adding reliable sources seemed to fit? Hope so

Yeah, not going to fly, sorry @PeepeeDino and A person of sorts:. This is a 3.1x reduction. Per WP:5X, "This calculation is made from the last version of the article before the expansion began, even if text from the original was deleted in the process (unless the text was a copyright violation, in which case it does not count towards the size of the original). We don't have enough time and volunteers to reach consensus on the quality of each previous article." If you can reference the Geologic Features section (which probably shouldn't have its own heading) I'd nominate for GA, which will make this eligible again. (Also, not sure why @H-2-O: is being credited when he doesn't seem to have had anything to do with this.)--Launchballer 14:01, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
