Hi all,

I am confused about the use of the term capite, I have a trascript of Inquisitiion post mortem, in History of Pilkington family of Lancashire 1066 to 1600 it says on pg 252 Robert Pilkington held Riivngton of capite of the Duchy of Lancaster and held Walton le Dale and Heath Charnock in capite, this is the opposite the the defination given here, --PL.-Snr (talk) 00:51, 14 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
