In July 2026, Higgins was announced as a member of the 2026 induction class of the Weber State Athletics Hall of Fame, alongside Mary Kay Amicone, David Blair, Randy Rahe and Norm Tarbox. The induction ceremony is scheduled for September 18, 2026, at the Eccles Conference Center in Ogden, Utah.^[1]

I am the subject of this article and am disclosing per WP:COI. This is a second, separate request from the Hall of Fame one above, kept apart so each can be handled independently.

Issue: The "Year-by-year statistics" table ends at 2009, but I played a fourth season in 2010, appearing in all 11 games. As a result the career totals row (9,757 yards, 83 TD) understates the figures that Weber State and secondary sources report for my career (12,274 yards, 98 TD, 935 completions). The table and the article body currently contradict each other.

Figures confirmed by that source:

2010: 11 games played, 210 completions on 359 attempts (.585), 2,512

 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, 29 rushing attempts

Career: 12,274 passing yards, 98 passing touchdowns, 935 completions,

 144.5 passing efficiency rating, 48 games played with 43 starts

Cells I could not source, flagged rather than guessed: 2010 interceptions, 2010 passing efficiency rating, 2010 rushing yards, and 2010 rushing touchdowns. I have left these as "-". Weber State's 2011 football media guide would have them if an editor has access; I would rather leave gaps than supply numbers I cannot cite.

Discrepancy an editor should reconcile: The existing 2007-2009 rows sum to 9,757 passing yards. Adding the sourced 2010 figure of 2,512 gives 12,269, which is five yards short of the 12,274 career figure Weber State and the Standard-Examiner both report. Completions (725 + 210 = 935) and touchdowns (83 + 15 = 98) reconcile exactly, so the gap is isolated to yardage - likely a small error in one of the existing season rows or in the 2010 figure. I have used the sourced career total of 12,274 in the totals row and would defer to an editor on where the five yards belong. Games and starts do reconcile: 37 + 11 = 48 games, and 43 career starts implies 10 starts in 2010.
