"Calvin cycle" section
[edit]I've restored a section header that was vandalised away, which I noticed as "Coupling to other metabolic pathways" seems like a non-sequitur and shouldn't hold the bulk of the text. I've left the restored section with the title "Calvin cycle" as the section text bolds and describes the Calvin cycle again, which hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can iron out. 93 (talk) 21:14, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Calvin cycle creates glucose?
[edit]I know this what we all learn at secondary school, but nowhere in the body of text do I see that glucose is formed. The only merit to use this molecule is that it has energy content that equals the light energy input during the light-dependent reactions.
Is it time to convert the glucose term to the more general term sugars? PigeonShaman (talk) 13:45, 30 August 2026 (UTC)
