Intergrated Civil Engineering System - COCO - Can we work for open sourcing MITs Fortran Code

To all;

I am trying to have MIT open source the ICES - COGO package. This might turn into an impossibe task.

I have contacted MIT for this purpose. If you could have any influence in resurrecting ICES - COGO, please have at it!!

I see no reason to recreate the wheel with this issue. Open Sourcing the code would help the market place with new competition for the Land Surveyors software.
