A large amount of detail? No.

[edit]

"because their composition includes a large amount of carbon, ..."

You know, "a large amount" seems to me wonderfully imprecise, and peeking into linked articles is not telling me anything substantive. Recently I read a description of one asteroid where they said "2%", not exactly a large amount. Finally found Carbonaceous chondrite where they offer "a high proportion of carbon (up to 3%)".

This may seem like nit-picking, but what if one paragraph said only "C-type asteroids are extremely dark", omitting all the other details? Shenme (talk) 01:38, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
