This is what the article said,

Common names include box (majority of English-speaking countries){{cn|date=December 2018}} or boxwood (North America).<ref>Only the wood as a material is "boxwood" in [[British English]]</ref>

I could find no reference to either of the two assertions of where the two names are used. I checked three dictionaries, and all of them give both "box" and "boxwood" as names for the plant. The Oxford English Dictionary (1888), Merrium-Webster's (1934), and Random House (1966), all agree. All three will mark words, either "chiefly British" or "chiefly U.S." The absence of such a designation means they all three are asserting "boxwood" is used in British English to name the plant. Thus the assertion made in the "ref" is incorrect, and has been attested so for 132 years by the OED. Nick Beeson (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
