BD versus Sales
[edit]suggest new subtopic discussing difference between Sales and BD.
Business Development efforts typically differs from sales to in the complexity, duration, and scope of the efforts to provide growth. BD efforts may involve significant effort on the part of the organization, working across engineering, product, finance, and contracts, to secure long term sales revenue of complex systems and services over many years. Sales, by contrast, tend to be shorter cycle capture of revenue for specific items or specific duration services with well defined scope. Integracer (talk) 14:26, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
