In the source provided, there is absolutely no evidence suggesting that inbreeding is a problem in this village. However, many people who hold a negative view of the villages most famous inhabitant, Islam Makhachev, are known to promote the idea that Dagestani fighters/people are commonly the result of incestuous relationships

I wonder to what degree the statement that 'inbreeding is a major problem' is supported by the source provided and if it should remain in the article. I personally believe it should be removed, as there is no evidence provided in the source and therefore it more so sounds like this was added due to racist discussions in the MMA-community and not because it has any foundation in truth Emciko (talk) 18:03, 5 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
