[edit]I propose that Bulbocodium be merged into Colchicum. As Bulbocodium now have been unequivocally shown to be part of Colchicum (see Persson et al. (2011) A phylogenetic analysis of the genus Colchicum L. (Colchicaceae) based on sequences from six plastid regions. Taxon 60: 1349-1365), and the necessary nomenclatural changes has been done (see Persson (2007) Nomenclatural synopsis of the genus Colchicum (Colchicaceae), with some new species and combinations. Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 127: 165-242) the information about these species should be treated on the latter page. LeLoSo (talk) 19:35, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think you need a merger proposal for this one. Just go ahead and merge both genera using the sources and add Bulbocodium among the list of synonyms in Colchicum.-- Obsidi♠n Soul 19:47, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

- I have adapted the content of the page Bulbocodium vernum and redirected it to a new page Colchicum bulbocodium.
B. vernum and B. versicolor were the only two, still accepted taxa of the genus Bulbocodium.
The taxon formerly called Bulbocodium versicolor is now considered as a subsp. of Colchicum bulbocodium.
I have integrated the current of the obsolete page Bulbocodium to into Colchicum bulbocodium and I have redirected it to Colchicum.
