Foreclosure problems?

[edit]

I happened to come across this article here:

Should this be included in the article since it had to do with the Fenleys after they bought out this team, and to what capacity? I'm not a legal interperter (yet) so this info is a tad confusing. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 21:19, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Trans Am

[edit]

Bud Moore Engineering also had a successful run in SCCA Trans Am racing as Ford's factory team for several years, running the Boss 302 cars. There should be a section on this. Otherwise, if the article is strictly the companies' NASCAR history, the article should be titled as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.151.114.232 (talk) 04:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Bud Moore built Ford Boss 302s for racing in the Trans-Am Series for at least 2 years, 1969 and 1970. Ford Motor Company had to sell a certain amount of these cars to the public to insure they were "production" cars. The other major manufacturers had to do the same thing with Camaros and Barracudas. I bought a very early production Boss 302 in 1969 and while assigned to Pope AFB in 1970 I drove it down to Spartanburg to meet Bud Moore, after having my car painted red, white, and black like his racing versions. I watched Trans Am races at Riverside Raceway and Laguna Seca. Being in a Ford sponsored Mustang Club, we got to lap the tracks before the races started. That period in BM Engineering was a very busy one....Parnelli Jones won the 1970 championship.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:640:C201:74AD:7CCF:FD9C:A2F0:B6BC (talk) 20:44, 9 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
