This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... The UK Wiki project has department stores as part of their targeted information. Brightwells may not have been notable nationally, but were locally and its owner was a mayor of Southend too and shaped the retail picture in Southend. This is what the UK Wiki project is about filling in the gaps in history that are missing --90.193.63.5 (talk) 19:43, 7 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
