a vs. domain

By setting $a$ as a time parameter and observing the function's behavior, I've found the function's domain to be inversely proportional to it. However, it's not a classic proportion. It seems to be exponential. If anyone can find or figure an equation relating the two, I'd appreciate it.Plynch22 15:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
