Help with article

This is my attempt to create a Brave Inca article; he was the most recent Champion Hurdler not to have one. It's my first effort at writing an article from scratch, although I have edited and improved lots of others. I know it still needs work especially with references. Also if anyone has a non-copyright picture of Brave Inca please add it, or let me know where I could find it. I'm going to move on to writing an article for Hors La Loi III. It seems a pity that while almost every American racehorse of note has a detailed and extensive article, many great European horses are still "in the red". Upgrade

Five months on, and lots of rewrites later... I've added more detail, quotes, references, in-line citations and external links, and made the tone more appropriate. I feel like doing a quick stub on Macs Joy to get rid of the redlinks, but I'll wait till I feel like doing it properly. Meets C criteria Tigerboy1966 (talk) 14:11, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Female Parent

What's the best term for a horse's female parent? "Dam" seems a bit specialised, but "mother" sounds anthropomorphic. Tigerboy1966 (talk) 23:11, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
