This article (along with many of the sailing articles here) has waaaaaayyyyy too much technical jargon. If I come here to look up the meaning of a term, it is quite frustrating to have to cross-reference six or seven other articles to make sense of the first one. Remember, people who know a lot of sailing terminology are unlikely to be looking up parts of a sailing ship on wikipedia. --Umichcynic (talk) 12:01, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

boomkin is on the stern....
