POV of section

- That's just a wording issue, a quick tweak will fix it.
This article sounds as though it was written by a kid
[edit]This article reads like it was written by a kid with a big vocabulary who decided to make a page for his own teacher's instructions on how to do a report. A book report is an assignment given out by teachers and its standards are not tightly defined and vary widely from place to place, even teacher to teacher. I have to ask, is this article even really necessary? There just isn't much to say about book reports, and I'm sure a brief mention in say, the article on books, or eduacation, or whatever would suffice. 24.74.141.22 05:04, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
British equivalent?
[edit]Are there anything like book reports in British schools? I had an unconventional British home-schooled education so I've no experience to go on as to whether we have anything parallel to the all-pervasive American "book report". If this is just an American phenomenon, does the article need to say so? --PeterR (talk) 19:42, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
