Transclusion
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians. I have inserted a transclusion into the Bookdash page. It allows the reader of this page to also access the children's stories directly on other sharing platforms. I hope that is all right? Derek J Moore (talk) 15:48, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
Feedback from New Page Review process
[edit]I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: The article is probably notable but tonally it appears to be quite promotional. Sourcing is not great either, with Timeslive.co.za being a newspaper but appearing to be written by the subject themselves. Would draftify if it was within the time limit.

- I do hope that I have offered some theoretical background that offers a clear rational for the Bookdash project. Reading is taught as a performance. Not for understanding. I would suggest that academics / practitioners such as Sandra Land, Peter Rule, Brahm Fleisch, Carole Bloch, Dorcas Wepukhulu who have got some helpful local perspectives Derek J Moore (talk) 10:02, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- I've done my best to cut down on the promotional tone and added another reliable source, from Brittle Paper. Derek J Moore, thank you for your efforts and research here, but I removed several of the sources you added because they were not really on topic: this article is just about Bookdash, not about the broader problems of book hunger, literacy, etc. I left in a little bit of that material in the "background" section but really it doesn't improve the overall sourcing of the article if high-quality academic sources on different topics are added. If Bookdash is not mentioned by name in a source, it's verging on original research to include that source in the Bookdash article.
