This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... Its a notable company which owns notable companies which would be candidates for articles in their own right... A subsidiary is one of the three major global tuna traders. I’m also not promoting or connected to the company in any way. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 23:12, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Subsidiaries section update proposal

[edit]

Hello everyone. Currently, the Subsidiaries section has some areas for improvement:

  • it only covers some of the many companies controlled by Bolton (you can check the complete list on page 12 of the company's sustainability report[1]);
  • it incorrectly lists some brands (Rio Mare, Saupiquet) as subsidiaries;
  • it includes some information already covered in the History section that can be removed (in particular references to Conservas Garavilla);

At the same time, I noticed that the article does not include a section describing the company's business sectors.

I have therefore prepared an update proposal that aims to revise the section, integrating the current information with an overview of the group's business sectors. I have deliberately avoided listing all the group's subsidiaries, given their large number. The added content has been translated from the Italian version of the article.

I would greatly appreciate any advice and opinions on the content. Thank you very much in advance. :) Pirelli19 (talk) 13:46, 29 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi again. Since the proposal does not seem controversial to me, I have carried out the update. Of course, I remain available to review it if there are any issues. Pirelli19 (talk) 14:12, 24 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
