Article sourly needed: what ARE the Bohras?

Muslim sects, for sure. All initially Shia, with one sect having split off to Sunni Islam in 15th-c. India (Gujarat). Btw, is that the only exception? Are they all (the Gujarati group excluded, right?) part of Tayyibi Isma'ilism? How are the Gujaratis still Bohra, then?

But what do they have in common? What is typically "Bohra"? What does the word "Bohra" mean?
