Is Blockade part of a proper name here?

I think it's not, but after I moved the page to lowercase blockade and edited the article, and editor undid my edit, but didn't comment on the title/move. If it's controversial, we should move it back and have an RM discussion. I couldn't find a single instance of "Crimean Blockade" capped thus in books, so I assumed this was just the usual case of editors not being aware of WP:NCCAPS and MOS:CAPS. I was going for consistency, see Berlin Blockade. I checked most of the sources on the page and none of them actually call it "Crimean blockade" (neither uppercase nor lowercase). This source and this source refer to it as "blockade of the Kerch strait". Perhaps this article should be renamed to Blockade of the Kerch Strait (1655) and in prose we do not have to capitalise the b in "blockade of the Kerch Strait".

Otherwise, I may have acted too hastily in my revert and it seems "Crimean blockade" is a name that was made up for en-wiki. The only English-language results I get are from Wikipedia where it is capitalised (because I am guessing it was cached that way).

MOS:MILTERMS says nothing about how translations should be capitalised, but MOS:INSTITUTIONS says If you are not sure whether the English translation of a foreign name is exact or not, assume it is rough and use lower case (e.g., the French parliament). So I'm not going to object to the move to "Crimean blockade" again (or revert the caps "fix") if that is what you wish to do. I will ask about this on the talk page of MOS:CAPS instead. Good place to check. In general, a better way to acheive consistency is via consistency with guidelines. See n-grams for the Berlin blockade, which has been creeping up in caps since WP capped it 20 years ago, but is still not close to consistently capitalized in sources.
