the final x(t) is incorrect; it should be multiplied by -2*pi*h/a (inconsequential factors albeit)

observation of the effect in JJs

`it has been observed in [...] ultrasmall Josephson junctions.` I can't seem to find a source for this and remember hearing from a colleague that charge noise is usually too big to permit observation of Bloch oscillation in small JJs.
