Just one note on the image. Echelletes generally have a 90° angle at the point, so the drawing is maybe misleading?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.4.226.6 (talk) 13:40, 29 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

By "generally", do we mean something closer to "usually" or "all the time". While a 90 degree apex is common in textbooks, it seems that this angle depends on the the method of manufacture. Jake (talk) 16:30, 13 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Blazed grating fabrication

It seems relevant to start a section that summarizes methods of fabrication/manufacture for blazed gratings, including: mechanical ruling, lithography combined with dry etching or KOH etching, etc. Jake (talk) 16:32, 13 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
