[edit]The article cites no references. Also, what is the deal with "He wanted to control the steam"? Is "steam" an attempt to translate or transcribe some Arabic personal or place name? (Steam power wasn't really a thing in the 10th century.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:18, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have to question the integrity of the sources, when this source;

- makes no mention of Bilgetegin at all! These sources appear to have been copied from other article(s). --Kansas Bear (talk) 07:58, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- AND, this source;
- Frye, R.N. (1975). "The Sāmānids". In Frye, R.N. The Cambridge History of Iran, Volume 4: From the Arab Invasion to the Saljuqs. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. pp. 136–161.
- also makes no mention of Bilge-Tegin between pages 136-161. Consequently, The Cambridge History of Iran, Volume 4, page 707, show that Bilge-Tegin is only mentioned once, on page 165! Another copied source? --Kansas Bear (talk) 08:06, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
