River near Bhaderwah

[edit]

The original article mentions a river, Bing maps shows a different river name, and Google maps shows a tributary of yet a third river. I don't know what is correct, so I leave the mention of a river out. --DThomsen8 (talk) 01:06, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Geographical area of bhaderwah valley basin

[edit]

the valley basin of Bhaderwah tehsil that constitutes the town and adjoining agricultural villages is strictly a total area of 12.3km². this valley has a length of 7km and the width("variable at different locations along the length of valley") at at its widest portion where centre of the town is located, as 2km. The valley has an eye catching view of asapati glacier on sonbain peak to south and kailashkund peak to south west of the town. Neeru river/stream flows by the side of this flat valley which adds to the beauty. Developmental facet of this flat valley is very uniform which can be concluded from the fact that,on absolute north end bhaderwah valley (doda side end) lies institutions like swiss school and sub district hospital, and on absolute north end of the valley, lies the University campus.
