Recent paper updates taxonomy

A recent paper significantly updated the taxonomy of this genus. Bettongia penicillata is considered extinct, since the living populations in Bettongia penicillata ogilbyi are elevated to species status as Bettongia ogibyi. Also, a new subfossil species Bettongia haoucharae is described, believed to have gone extinct in the 1920s.

Thanks for the information. I may have the time for this shortly, but we should wait until this is reflected in the ASM's MDD and the IUCN Red List, or one of those with some other secondary/tertiary sources. This is standard practice for mammal taxonomy changes. However, I took the liberty of wrapping the reference above in a citation template.
