Hello Hollis Hurlbut and thanks for all your improvements to this article. However, despite the improvements, the article fails criterion 2b since there are too many unreferenced paragraphs. Examples are the paragraphs starting with "In 1934, he joined the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)", "In 1934 Herrmann met a young CBS secretary and aspiring writer, Lucille Fletcher.", "A notable feature of the Vertigo score is the ominous two-note falling", and "According to Dan Auiler, author of Vertigo: The Making of a Hitchcock Classic,". According to criterion 2b, these and similar passages require inline citations "no later than the end of the paragraph". Additionally, the article has the following maintenance tags 1x clarification needed and 2x dead link. I suggest that you add all the relevant references and resolve the maintenance tags before a renomination.
A few other observations
- WP:EARWIG detects several potential copyvios with https://cinescores.dudaone.com/bernard-herrmann-the-colour-of-the-music , https://www.encyclopedia.com/people/literature-and-arts/film-and-television-biographies/bernard-herrmann , and others. I suggest that you look into this.
- Herrmann was the chief conductor of the CBS Symphony Orchestra, which lead him replace "lead" with "led"
- This relationship lead him to write his replace "lead" with "led"
- The Twilight Zone.Towards the end of his career add a space after "Zone"
- As a sidenote: your other GA nomination, Elvis Costello, seems to have a similar problem with unreferenced paragraphs. I suggest you add all the needed references there as well before someone quickfails the nomination.
