Lots of single-purpose accounts on this article

There have been various single-purpose accounts editing this article - Ceellece in January 2015‎, then GrahamAvenue and TMT4320237 in the last few days. These three have different editing styles, but they all seem intent on, among other things, removing content from the "Early life" section, like the fact that Miller dropped out of NYU. I have no idea whether these accounts are related to one another, or whether any have any connection to Mr. Miller himself, but in any case it's annoying to have to keep restoring relevant information. Remove the “Personal life” section

I work as an assistant to Bennett Miller and have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page. I am requesting that an uninvolved editor consider removing the “Personal life” section. The section consists solely of a quotation from a 2014 interview in which Miller described himself as a “tumbleweed” and discussed not having a company, staff, car, or apartment. Given that this single anecdotal quotation constitutes the entirety of the section, I believe it gives disproportionate weight to a minor biographical detail and does not provide meaningful encyclopedic information about the subject's personal life. Remove Academy Award “barking” anecdote

I work as an assistant to Bennett Miller and have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page. I am requesting that an uninvolved editor consider removing the anecdote in the “Early life and education” section stating that Miller, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Steven Schub made a pact that if any of them won an Academy Award, the acceptance speech would consist entirely of barking. Although the anecdote is cited, I believe it is a minor piece of trivia that receives disproportionate attention relative to its encyclopedic significance and to Miller's biography as a whole. Remove unrealized A Christmas Carol project

I am requesting that an uninvolved editor consider removing the paragraph in the “Film career” section concerning a proposed adaptation of A Christmas Carol that was reported in 2016. The paragraph describes an announced project that ultimately did not materialize. Condense “Early life and education” section

I work as an assistant to Bennett Miller and have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page. I am requesting that an uninvolved editor consider condensing the “Early life and education” section. In particular, the section currently includes detailed information about Miller knowing Dan Futterman and Philip Seymour Hoffman in his youth, Miller and Futterman attending Mamaroneck High School together, their participation in the New York State Summer School of the Arts, and the three later collaborating on Capote. While some of these facts may be reliably sourced, I believe the level of detail devoted to these childhood and school associations is disproportionate to their significance in Miller's biography. I would suggest retaining the core biographical information concerning his birthplace and education while removing or substantially condensing the material concerning childhood acquaintances and classmates. Remove inaccurate characterization preceding Capote

Remove inaccurate Gary Oldman claim

I am requesting that an uninvolved editor review and remove the statement in the “Film career” section that Miller began developing Foxcatcher in 2006 “with Gary Oldman as the lead.” To my knowledge, this claim is factually incorrect. I am not proposing that information supplied by the subject or his representatives be substituted for a published source. Rather, I am asking that an independent editor verify whether the cited source actually supports the specific claim that Gary Oldman was attached as the lead and, if it does not, remove the statement. Because this is a biography of a living person, I believe an unsupported factual assertion about Miller's professional history should not remain in the article.
